Types and characteristics of ozone generators in domestic workshops

There are many kinds of ozone generators used in domestic workshops. According to the principle of ozone generation, the main types are electrolytic, ultraviolet and high-voltage discharge. At present, electrolytic and ultraviolet type are only used in specific workshops of a few industries, and the more common type is high-voltage discharge ozone generator. At present, there are several kinds of high-pressure ozone generators that are widely used in China 1. Built in air conditioner Ozone generator 。 The working principle of the ozone generator is that the ozone generator is placed in the air supply duct or return air duct of the air conditioner, and the ozone generated by the ozone generator is transported to the workshop that needs disinfection by using the wind power of the air conditioner. The ozone generator is simple to use, and the ozone gas can also be conveniently delivered to the workshop requiring disinfection. However, because it is installed in the air duct of the air conditioner, it is not easy to detect the fault and it is not convenient to take it out for maintenance. At the same time, ozone gas may cause oxidation and corrosion to the air duct, air conditioning motor, copper parts, electronic components, rubber seals made of galvanized iron sheet. 2. External ozone generator The working principle of the ozone generator is to send the ozone generated by the ozone generator into the air supply duct or return air duct of the air conditioner through the pipeline, and then use the wind power of the air conditioner to transport the ozone to the workshop which needs to be disinfected. Compared with the built-in ozone generator, this kind of ozone generator is only convenient for maintenance and repair, but it still has the disadvantage that ozone gas may damage the accessories of air conditioning system. 3. Wall mounted ozone generator The working principle of the ozone generator is to hang the ozone generator on the high place of the wall in the workshop, and blow the ozone gas to the workshop through the "window" or "nozzle" on the ozone generator. Due to the limitation of structure and volume, the actual distance of ozone blowing is very close, usually less than 3 meters, so it is unable to disinfect the distance of the workshop. When the workshop area is large, it needs to install more than one set to achieve disinfection effect. 4. Mobile ozone generator The ozone generator with caster at the bottom or handle on the upper part can be moved to the workshop where disinfection is needed. The main problem is that it is not easy to put ozone gas evenly. Ozone is heavier than air. When disinfecting the workshop, ozone is usually put from a high place, and ozone is required to be put into every corner of the workshop as far as possible. The mobile ozone generator is difficult to meet this requirement.
